Lots of hugs and not being afraid to argue are two of the secrets to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill ’s successful marriage. In the cover story of the current issue of Country Weekly magazine, Tim and Faith join other star couples, including George Strait, Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley and Martina McBride in sharing some of the ways they’ve learned to make marriage work.
Faith notes that she and Tim just open their arms to each other during hard times. "When I need a pick-me-up, he just hugs me," Faith says. "He gives me the best hugs in the world, bar none."
Tim counsels couples that every fight doesn’t mean the end of the relationship. "I think a lot of people fall into that — when they’re married or dating, they’re scared to have an argument," he says.
