Although Katharine McPhee lost America Idol, she won the hearts of the millions who succumbed to "McPhever." Katharine sang "My Destiny" on the last night of the show, and all the judges agreed it wasn't a great song. But her version of "Somewhere over the Rainbow," which was a highlight of the season, is a stunning overhaul, successfully injecting new life into a beloved classic.
