Song Lyrics - Dulce Amor (Sweet Love)
|
This danceable and contagious grove is the combination of three styles of Latin music; Colobian Cumbia, Colombian Vallenato, and the Cuban Son. The begining verses are more Cuban Son groove, the choruses and accordian solo are more Vallenato, and the bridges have the Cumbia taste. Dulce Amor (Sweet Love) is a very metaphorical and surrealistic approach to a very sweet and romantic message of love dedicated to the person who captured your heart.
Todas las noches cuando miro al cielo Every night when I look to the sky
Brillan tus ojos como dos luceros Your eyes sparkle as two bright stars
Ojos tan puros como el agua clara Eyes as pure as clear water
Que calma las heridas That it calmes the wounds
De mi pobre corazé'‡. Of my poor heart
Te llevo anclado a mi pensamiento I carry you locked in my thoughts
Paloma blanca que de el amor White dove of love
Amor que riega las ilusié'‡es Love that spinkles the imagination
Como arroyito en el alma Like a little stream in the soul
Aurora fresca de la maé¦'na Fresh dawn of the morning
Tibia caricia, rayo de sol Steaking rays of sunlight ------------------- CORO: Va saliendo la luna The moon goes leaving
Reflejada en el rio Reflections in the river (x2)
Ay que buena fortuna What good fortune
Es tenerte amor mio It is to have you my love (x2) ---------------
Es el perfume que me dan tus besos It is the perfume that your kisses give to me
Dulce fragancia que en mi pecho anida Sweet fragrance that nests within my heart
Pasion que brota como blanca espuma Passion that breaks like white surf
Cuando mueren al viento las olas del mar When the waves of the sea die to the wind
Te llevo escrito en mi firmamento I carry you written in my being
Suave caricia que da el amor sweet caresses that it gives to the love
Amor que riega las ilusié'‡es Love that sprinkles the imagination
Como arroyito en el alma Like a little stream in the soul
Aurora fresca de la maé¦'na Fresh dawn of the morning
Tibia caricia, rayo de sol Steaking rays of sunlight
---------------------- CORO: Va saliendo la luna The moon goes leaving
Reflejada en el rio Reflections in the river (x2)
Ay que buena fortuna What good fortune
Es tenerte amor mio It is to have you my love (x2) ----------------------------
Eres cancié'‡ que nace con el viento You are a song that is born with the wind
Inspiracié'‡ cuando te doy un verso Insperation when to you I give a verse
Eres la brisa que me alegra el alma You are the breeze that gladdens my soul
Que lleva la fragancia de tu dulce amor It carries the sweet fragrance of your love
Te llevo atado a mi pensamiento You I carry tied in my thoughts
Paloma blanca que da el amor The white dove of love
Amor que riega las ilusié'‡es The love that sprinkles the imagination
Como arroyito en el alma As a little steam in the soul
Aurora fresca de la maé¦'na Fresh dawn of the morning
Tibia caricia, rayo de sol Steaking rays of sunlight
-------------------- CORO: Va saliendo la luna The moon goes leaving
Reflejada en el rio Reflections in the river (x2)
Ay que buena fortuna What good fortune
Es tenerte amor mio It is to have you my love (x2) -------------------- CORO: Va saliendo la luna The moon goes leaving
Reflejada en el rio Reflections in the river (x2)
Ay que buena fortuna What good fortune
Es tenerte amor mio It is to have you my love (x2)
