Author/date Message auntie msg #1 What the heck????????? Don’t people understand that while Brit IS a seasoned performer, she is a person first and foremost. OK, so the sassy swagger that we’ve all come to expect when we see her perform wasn’t there, but how cool would it have been if Brit had just busted out with "Hey, I want to sing this for you live, ya down with that?" and see what the audience did, and how the producers would react. The next thing she should/ could have done is tell the audience "hey, been workin on a routine, it got denied..... gonna try to shimmy and such, but next time you’ll really see me tear it up". So many people love to hate her, but more people love to love her. She is a darling young woman who is trying too hard to please too many people, and then occasionally, it seems, just gets "done" with trying to make others happy and does what she wants. VIOLET msg #2 Auntie, you are soooo correct!!! :) Some people are just too blind not to see your point.They’re like: "She’s too this" and "She’s too that!" Did they ever bother to ask themselves that if they are the ones up on that stage, can they do better???I bet they might even throw up out of being too scared to perform in front of an audience!HAH! I just wish that those who keep on throwing negative remarks about Britney are far more talented - bet they cannot even qualify to perform in an alley somewhere! angelcake msg #3 People made such a BIG deal about this performance. I don’t think it was up to Britney’s usual standard but it certainly wasn’t as dismal as many proclaimed. I think people exagerated a lot about how bad it was. Plus the comments about her weight were very negative, my god most women (at least those who have had two kids) would die for a body half as good as Brits.
