PUNK?! Are you people serious?! There is nothing punk about Avril Lavigne! There never has been! Punk is not solely by the clothes you wear... it’s a type of music which usually has some sort of anarchic trait to them (The Sex Pistols are a prime example of this). Well she’s obviously a girly (well she is female ain’t she?!) she’s hardly a chappy! But Avril Lavigne is not, never has been and, undoubtedly, never will be either. |

You people do realise Avril was a country singer before she was "punk" (I don’t think she is hence the quotation marks!). But country music doesn’t sell as well because the biggest music buying part of the population are teens to young adults the majority of which are more into pop music than country... and if you’re offended that I implied Avril is a pop singer I wasn’t implying it, I was flat out saying it! And if you’re still offended... then I suggest you by a joke book and find out what it is to have a good laugh! |
